But if the exposure is too dark that can be overridden by dialling extra flash light with the Flash Exposure Control on the flash? I understand when shooting in AP the camera exposes for ambient light. If you require the flash to be the dominant light source you will need to either use P mode or Manual mode.ĭareshooter, I'm no flash expert just a humble amateur □ ![]() The use of flash in AP is generally regarded as a fill flash mode so the camera prioritises the ambient light. ![]()
